SPECIAL WEATHER OUTLOOK ON INDEPENDENCE DAY CELEBRATION

On June 11 and 12, a gradual shift of the prevailing wind from southeasterly to southwesterly is expected to bring early morning or afternoon rainshowers and thunderstorms over the western section of Luzon including the National Capital Region (NCR). The rest of the country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies aside from afternoon rainshowers or thunderstorms. Winds will be moderate to occasionally waters along these areas will be moderate to occasionally rough. Elsewhere, winds will be light to moderate from the south to southwest with slight to moderate seas.
No tropical cyclone is expected to affect the country during the period. However, this outlook will be as soon as significant changes in the weather pattern occur.
