WEATHER OUTLOOK FOR "SEMANA SANTA"

(April 15-21, 2019)


The easterlies will be the dominating weather system to affect the entire archipelago during the celebration of SEMANA SANTA.

Today until Wednesday ( April 15- 17), the whole country will have warm and humid weather condition apart from scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms in the afternoon particularly over Northern and Central Luzon.

On Maundy Thursday until Easter Sunday (April 18-21), mostly cloudy skies with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms will prevail over Visayas and Mindanao due to Easterlies. The rest of the country will have warm and humid weather condition apart from passing isolated rainshowers and thunderstorms in the afternoon.

Light to moderate winds will be coming from the east and southeast with slight to moderate coastal waters.
