TODAY UNTIL SUNDAY (17 - 19 JANUARY) CLOUDY SKIES AND LIGHT RAINS WILL PREVAIL OVER CAGAYAN VALLEY, CORDILLERA ADMINSITRATIVE REGION (CAR), AURORA AND QUEZON, BICOL REGION AND NORTHERN AND EASTERN SAMAR DUE TO THE "AMIHAN" (NORTHEAST MONSOON) WHILE BATANGAS AND CAVITE WILL HAVE CLOUDY SKIES WITH ISOLATED RAINS DUE TO THE VOLCANIC ACTIVITY. METRO MANILA AND THE REST OF LUZON WILL EXPERIENCE GENERALLY FAIR WEATHER CONDITION ASIDE FROM ISOLATED LIGHT RAINS WHILE THE REST OF THE COUNTRY WILL BE PARTLY CLOUDY TO CLOUDY WITH ISOLATED RAINSHOIWERS OR THUNDERSTORMS.

20 & 21 January

BY MONDAY AND TUESDAY (20 & 21 JANUARY), A FRONTAL SYSTEM WILL FORM OFF THE EASTERN SEABOARD OF VISAYAS AND WILL BRING CLOUDY SKIES, SCATTERED RAINSHOWERS AND ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS OVER THE SAMAR PROVINCES AND CARAGA. CLOUDY SKIES AND LIGHT RAINS DUE TO THE "AMIHAN" WILL CONTINUE TO BE EXPERIENCED OVER CAGAYAN VALLEY, AUROIA, QUEZON AND BICOL REGION. THE REST OF THE COUNTRY WILL HAVE GENERALLY FAIR WEATHER CONDITIONS APART FROM SOME ISOLATED LIGHT RAINS OR THUNDERSTORMS

22 &23 January

BY WEDNESDAY AND THURSDAY(22 &23 JANUARY), THE "AMIHAN" WILL TEMPORARILY WEAKEN, THE FRONTAL SYSTEM WILL GRADUALLY DISSIPATE WHILE THE EASTERLIES WILL AFFECT THE EASTERN SECTION OF SOUTHERN LUZON AND VISAYAS. CLOUDY SKIES AND SCATTERED RAINSHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS WILL BE EXPERIENCED OVER BICOL REGION AND THE SAMAR PROVINCES. THE REST OF LUZON WILL HAVE GENERALLY FAIR WEATHER CONDITIONS APART FROM SOME ISOLATED LIGHT RAINS WHILE THE REST OF THE COUNTRY WILL BE PARTLY CLOUDY TO CLOUDY WITH ISOLATED RAINHSOWERS OR THUNDERSTORMS.

BY FRIDAY (24 JANUARY), CLOUDY SKIES WITH SCATTERED RAINSHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS WILL BE EXPERIENCED OVER BICOL REGION, NORTHERN AND EASTERN SAMAR AND SURIGAO DEL NORTE DUE TO THE EASTERLIES. BATANES AND BABUYAN GROUP OF ISLANDS WILL HAVE CLOUDY SKIES WITH SCATTERED RAINSHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS DUE TO A FRESH SURGE OF "AMIHAN" OVER EXTREME NORTHEN LUZON. THE REST OF THE COUNTRY WILL BE PARTLY CLOUDY TO CLOUDY WITH ISOLATED RAINSHOWERS OR THUNDERSTORMS.

NO TROPICAL CYCLONE IS EXPECTED TO AFFECT THE COUNTRY THROUGHOUT THE OUTLOOK PERIOD. HOWEVER, THIS OUTLOOK WILL BE UPDATED IF SIGNIFICANT CHANGES IN THE WEATHER CONDITION OCCUR.
