AT 10 AM TODAY, THE LOW PRESSURE AREA (LPA) WAS ESTIMATED AT 480 KM EAST OF BALER, AURORA (15.2 °N, 126.0 °E). MEANWHILE, THE SOUTHWEST MONSOON CONTINUES TO AFFECT THE SOUTHERN LUZON AND VISAYAS. THESE WEATHER SYSTEMS WILL BRING CLOUDY SKIES WITH SCATTERED RAINSHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS OVER CALABARZON, MIMAROPA, BICOL REGION, AND WESTERN VISAYAS. PARTLY CLOUDY TO CLOUDY SKIES WITH ISOLATED RAINSHOWERS ARE EXPECTED OVER METRO MANILA AND THE REST OF THE COUNTRY DUE TO LOCALIZED THUNDERSTORMS.

TOMORROW UNTIL MONDAY (26 - 28 SEPTEMBER), THE AFOREMENTIONED LPA IS EXPECTED TO DISSIPATE WHILE THE SOUTHWEST MONSOON WILL CONTINUE TO BRING CLOUDY SKIES WITH SCATTERED RAINSHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS OVER THE WESTERN SECTION OF SOUTHERN LUZON. METRO MANILA AND THE REST OF THE COUNTRY WILL HAVE PARTLY CLOUDY TO CLOUDY SKIES WITH ISOLATED RAINSHOWERS OR THUNDERSTORMS.

THROUGHOUT THE REST OF THE OUTLOOK PERIOD (29 SEPTEMBER - 2 OCTOBER), THE WHOLE COUNTRY WILL HAVE PARTLY CLOUDY TO CLOUDY SKIES WITH ISOLATED RAINSHOWERS MOSTLY IN THE AFTERNOON OR IN THE EVENING AS THE SOUTHWEST MONSOON WILL WEAKEN.
