SPECIAL WEATHER OUTLOOK FOR UNDAS 2024

Tropical Cyclone(TC) LEON and its trough will be the dominant weather systems that will affect the entire archipelago during “Undas”.
On Wednesday until Thursday (October 30-31), Tropical Cyclone LEON will bring stormy weather over Cagayan Valley and Apayao, and rains with gusty winds over Ilocos region, rest of Cordillera Administrative Region (CAR), Aurora, Quezon, and portions of Bicol region and Samar provinces. Cloudy skies with scattered to widespread rains will be experienced over Antique, Occidental Mindoro, and Cavite. Flooding and landslides are expected in low lying and in mountainous areas due to prolonged rains. Metro Manila, rest of Bicol Region, rest of Central Luzon, rest of CALABARZON, rest of MIMAROPA, rest of Western Visayas, Negros Island Region (NIR), and Zamboanga Peninsula will be cloudy with scattered rains and thunderstorms. The rest of the country will have partly cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms mostly in the afternoon or evening.
On Friday (November 1), Occidental Mindoro will still experience scattered to widespread rains while Metro Manila, Ilocos region, CALABARZON, Central Luzon rest of MIMAROPA, Western Visayas Negros Island Region (NIR), Apayao, Babuyan Islands, and Batanes will be cloudy skies with scattered rains and isolated thunderstorms. The rest of the country will have partly cloudy skies with the possibility of isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms.
On Saturday (November 2), Occidental Mindoro and Palawan will have mostly cloudy skies with scattered rains and isolated thunderstorms. Metro Manila and the rest of the country will be partly cloudy apart from localized rainshowers or thunderstorms.
Strong to typhoon-force winds coming from the northwest to southwest may prevail over Northern Luzon and the eastern section of Central Luzon. Moderate to strong westerly to southwesterly winds may affect the rest of the western and eastern sections of the country, while light to moderate winds over the rest of the archipelago.
