Changing the name of PAGASA's Advisory from 'Weather Situation and Outlook' to 'Monthly Climate Assessment and Outlook'
To increase understanding and heighten awareness in the user community when El Niño Southern Oscillation (ENSO)-neutral condition is present, the PAGASA advisory being issued monthly had changed from 'Monthly Weather Situation and Outlook' to 'Monthly Climate Assessment and Outlook' (MCAO).
The adoption of the new name is necessary to concisely describe the contents and subject of the advisory.
