SPECIAL WEATHER OUTLOOK ON OPENING OF SCHOOL CLASSES

The oscillation of the Intertropical Convergence Zone (ITCZ) is expected to affect Mindanao in the next 5 days.

On the opening of classes, Monday, 03 June 2019, mostly cloudy skies with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms will be experienced over Mindanao. The rest of the country including Metro Manila will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with afternoon or evening rainshowers and thunderstorms.


Light easterly and southeasterly winds will prevail throughout the archipelago and the coastal waters will be slight except during thunderstorms.
No tropical cyclone is expected to affect the country in the next 5 days.


This weather outlook will be updated as soon as significant changes in the weather pattern occur.
