UNDAS 2021 SPECIAL WEATHER OUTLOOK
28 October 2021
The Northeast Monsoon and Shearline will be the dominant weather systems to affect the entire archipelago this coming Undas.
Today until Saturday (29 – 30 October): Southern Luzon and Visayas will have cloudy skies with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms while Mindanao will have fair weather conditions apart from isolated rainshowers in the afternoon or evening. The rest of Luzon will be partly cloudy with passing light rains.
From Sunday until All Souls’ Day (31 October – 2 November): Generally cloudy skies with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms will prevail over Visayas and Mindanao, with Northern Mindanao, especially, having widespread rains on Sunday and Monday. The eastern section of Luzon will likewise be cloudy with rains due to the Northeast Monsoon. The rest of Luzon will have mostly cloudy skies with passing light rains.
Sea travelers over the seaboards of Luzon and Visayas should exercise extra caution due to strong northeasterly winds that could generate big waves while Mindanao will have light to moderate northeasterly surface winds with slight to moderate seas.
