STATE OF THE NATION ADDRESS SPECIAL WEATHER OUTLOOK
(22 July 2024)
The low pressure area (LPA) inside the Philippine Area of Responsibility east of Visayas and the Southwest Monsoon will be the dominant weather systems to affect the country during the State of the Nation Address (SONA) by the President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr.
On Monday, 22 July, the LPA may be estimated over the waters east of Northern Luzon and may develop into a tropical cyclone (TC), which could enhance the Southwest Monsoon. This development may bring mostly cloudy skies, scattered rains, and thunderstorms over Metro Manila.
This weather outlook will be updated if significant changes in weather occurs. For more information, please contact the Weather Division at telephone number (02) 8926-4258, trunk line 82840800 local 4801 or visit our website www.bagong.pagasa@dost.gov.ph.
