"UNDAS 2019" SPECIAL WEATHER OUTLOOK

The dominant weather systems that will affect the celebration of All Saint's Day "Undas" are the Northeast Monsoon and the Low Pressure Area (LPA) east of Mindanao embedded along the Intertropical Convergence Zone (ITCZ), Cagayan Valley and Aurora Province will have occasional light rains, while the rest of Northern and Central Luzon including Metro Manila will experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains from Friday until Sunday (01-03 Nov) due to the southward migration of Northeast Monsoon. Meanwhile, Southern Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao will be cloudy with scattered to widespread rainshowers and thunderstorms during the forecast period due to the expected approach of the LPA over southern Philippines.

Moderate to strong winds coming from the northeast is expected to prevail over northern and central Luzon with moderate to rough coastal waters. Elsewhere, winds will be light to moderate coming from the east to northeast with slight to moderate seas.
