SPECIAL WEATHER OUTLOOK DURING THE OBSERVANCE OF SEMANA SANTA (April 8 - 11, 2020)
Batanes and Cagayan will experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains from April 8 to 10 due to the northeasterly surface wind flow. On April 11 as the northeasterly surface windflow weakens, the aforementioned provinces will have generally fair weather conditions apart from some isolated rainshowers associated with localized thunderstorms.
The rest of the country will continue to experience warm and humid weather throughout the outlook period, with chances of isolated rainshowers due to localized thunderstorms mostly over the provinces on the eastern section.
Moderate to occasionally strong winds coming from the northeast will prevail over Extreme Northern Luzon and the coastal waters along this area will be moderate to occasionally rough. Elsewhere, winds will be light to moderate from the east to northeast with slight to moderate sea.
No tropical cyclone is expected during the outlook period. This weather outlook will be updated if significant changes in weather occurs. For more information please contact the Weather Division at telephone number (02) 8926-4258 or log on to www.bagong.pagasa.gov.ph
