SPECIAL WEATHER OUTLOOK 2022 NATIONAL ELECTION

The dominant weather system to affect the country during the conduct of National Election will be the Intertropical Convergence Zone (ITCZ).

Eastern Visayas and Mindanao will be generally cloudy skies with rainshowers and thunderstorms caused by the oscillation of the ITCZ. The rest of the country will have warm and humid weather conditions apart from isolated afternoon or evening rainshowers and thunderstorms.

Light to Moderate winds coming from the east and southeast will prevail over Luzon becoming light easterly to variable over Visayas and Mindanao. The coastal waters will be slight to moderate.
