SPECIAL WEATHER OUTLOOK FOR THE BLACK NAZARENE 2024
(08-10 January 2024)


The Northeast Monsoon (Amihan), Shear Line and Easterlies are the dominant weather systems that will affect the country within the outlook period.

By Monday until Wednesday (January 8-10), Bicol Region, Eastern Visayas, and Quezon will experience cloudy skies with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms caused by Shear Line. Mostly cloudy skies with light rains is expected over Cagayan Valley, Apayao, Kalinga, and Aurora, while partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains will be experienced over Metro Manila, llocos Region, the rest of Cordillera Administrative Region, and CALABARZON due to Amihan.The rest of the country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms mostly in the afternoon or evening due to prevailing Easterlies.
