(14 - 20 April 2025)
The Frontal System and the Easterlies will be the dominant weather systems affecting the country throughout the outlook period.
Today (14 April), the Frontal System will bring cloudy skies with rains over Cagayan, Batanes, and Apayao. Meanwhile, Zamboanga Peninsula and BARMM will also experience cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms due to the Easterlies. The rest of the country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies, with the possibility of isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms mostly in the eastern section.
On Tuesday (15 April), the Frontal System will continue to cause cloudy skies with scattered rains and isolated thunderstorms over Cagayan Valley, Apayao, and Aurora. On the other hand, partly cloudy to cloudy skies are expected over the rest of the country, with a chance of brief rainshowers or thunderstorms mostly in the eastern section.
From Wednesday to Sunday (16–20 April), the whole archipelago will experience warm and humid conditions, with the possibility of localized rainshowers or thunderstorms in the afternoon or evening due to the easterlies.
The public is advised to limit physical outdoor activities between 10:00 in the morning and 4:00 in the afternoon to avoid fatigue, heat cramps, and heat exhaustion. Drinking water regularly, taking breaks in shaded areas, and wearing light-colored clothing are also encouraged.
