SPECIAL WEATHER OUTLOOK DURING THE FEAST OF BLACK NAZARENE 2021

The weather systems that will affect most parts of the country during the feast of Black Nazarene are the Northeast monsoon and the southward migration of the tail-end of cold front.
During the outlook period, the eastern section of Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao will be generally cloudy skies with rainshowers becoming frequent over Bicol region and Eastern Visayas by Saturday and Sunday (Jan 9 & 10). Flash floods and landslides are expected.
Metro Manila will be mostly cloudy with passing light rains. Forecast range of temperature between 22 to 31 degrees Celsius with moderate winds coming from the northeast and Manila Bay will be moderate.
The rest of Luzon will have partly cloudy skies apart from isolated passing light rains.
No tropical cyclone formation is expected within the Philippine Area of Responsibility during the outlook period
