SPECIAL WEATHER OUTLOOK 2023 BARANGAY AND SANGGUNIANG KABATAAN ELECTIONS
(30 October 2023)
The dominant weather systems to affect the country during the conduct of the Barangay and Sangguniang Kabataan Election will be the Northeast Monsoon (Amihan), the Shear Line, and a possible occurrence of Low Pressure Area (LPA). Visayas, Bicol Region, Caraga, and Quezon will be generally cloudy skies with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms caused by the combined effects of Shear Line and LPA. Mostly cloudy skies with light rains will be experienced over Cagayan Valley and Aurora, while the Ilocos Region, Cordillera, the rest of Central Luzon, and Metro Manila will be partly cloudy with isolated light rains due to Northeast Monsoon. The rest of the country will have isolated afternoon or evening rainshowers and thunderstorms. Moderate to strong winds coming from the Northeast will prevail over Northern Luzon and the coastal waters will be moderate to rough, while light to moderate northeasterly to northwesterly winds will affect the rest of the country with slight to moderate sea.

This weather outlook will be updated if significant changes in weather occur. For more information, please contact the Weather Division at telephone number 8284-0800 loc. 4801, or log on to www.pagasa.dost.gov.ph.
